Wax Works West is a state-of-the-art encaustic learning center where Wendy Aikin, Judy Stabile & Daniella Woolf teach encaustic painting. We are all trained by R & F Paints and our teaching philosophy is simple. We are adamant about safety first, we supply all class materials so you don't have to worry about buying the "right stuff," we provide a non-judgemental, non competitive, safe environment in which to work. We don't critique our students and we give plenty of painting time so that students can digest the demos and information.

In addition, we have a retail store right in the classroom so you don't have to hunt and gather after class. You can purchase all the materials you need to get started or set up your own studio. We supply and sell the finest quality materials for working with encaustic.
